CEBU, Philippines - About five years ago, Plantation GM Efren Belarmino invited some PR ladies for a night of fun and to try out the newly renovated Mogambo Spa. Those who attended were Sharon Samarista – Director of CorpComm, Mactan's Shangri-La; Miok Loyola – Director of MarComm, Hilton-Cebu; host Joey Cuenco – PR Manager of Plantation; and Marlinda Angbetic Tan – member emeritus, as ex-Pr Manager of Cebu Plaza Hotel.
A week ago, Mr. Belarmino invited the PR Ladies' Circle again to enjoy the resort's Brazilian Extravaganza at the beach. Invited were: Mildred Amon – Director of CorpComm, Mactan's Shangri-La; Rica Reyes-Rellon, new Director of MarComm, Radisson Blu; Kyra Cabaero – new MediaComm Manager of Marco Polo Plaza; host Hannah Patalinghug – PR Asst. of Plantation Bay, and Marlinda Angbetic Tan – member emeritus. Unfortunately, only Rica and Mayen made it through the heavy rains and the snarling traffic that night...but those present had a great time, ending with a short but relaxing half-hour at Mogambo towards midnight!
