Avocado Dishes

CEBU, Philippines – SumoSam introduces its wide array of delectable and nutritious avocado dishes prepared in various ways for the whole family to enjoy.

For starters, try the California Maki with Avocado Salad. It's a medley of cucumber, crab and avocado but tossed on a bed of fresh greens and topped with nori, the edible seaweed used to wrap sushi and tobiko or fish roe.

A choice selection of sushi rolls using avocado in four interesting twists are also available to satisfy the palate. Delight in the classic California Maki with Avocado, the Tempura Avocado Roll, Smoked Salmon and Avocado Roll and the Caterpillar Roll, in itself a visual treat.

Quench your thirst with the Avocado Ice Cream artistically served on the fruit's shell, an award winning dessert from SumoSam's Battle of the Chefs 2 Champions Antonio Jarabejo Jr. and Joseph Paglingayen.

Australian Abalone & Freezing Cold Concoctions

Choi City Seafood Restaurant features the Australian abalone. Executive Chef Siu Bing, who hails from Hong Kong, masterfully concocted his own version of special sauce for the abalone, when poured, blends with the taste of the abalone and does not take away the abalone's natural flavor and taste.

For those who like to keep the abalone pure and natural, then allow Chef Siu Bing to serve you the Abalone Sashimi. Enjoy the abalone sashimi's refined flavor that is completely non-fishy. So for those with discerning taste buds, look for any of the managers and let Chef Siu Bing prepare his Abalone with Special Sauce or Abalone Sashimi for you. Should you have a more adventurous palette, Chef Siu Bing will be glad to prepare any other abalone dish of your choice or preference.

Dimsum and Dessert Chef, Zhang Jun Rong, has come up with five new flavorful desserts: Marry Me Strawberry, Fruity Chocolate Cream, Fruity Strawberry Cream, Chocolate Parfait and Cheesy Oreo Truffle.
