MCCI'S Velada

CEBU, Philippines - The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce & Industry recently held an MCCI Velada - An Evening Party at the Grand Ballroom of Marco Polo Plaza last July 30, 2012. "Velada" is a Spanish word that means a grand gathering. Indeed, it was a grand gathering of MCCI's members, friends, long-time partners and soon to be partners.

 The night started with the oath-taking of MCCI's new members with Past President Eric Ng Mendoza and Mayor Jonas Cortes as inducting officer.

The newly elected MCCI Board of Trustees were likewise inducted on the same evening by Governor Gwendolyn Garcia.

The highlight of the party was the testimonial dinner tendered for Immediate Past President Eric Ng Mendoza and his official turn-over to the newly elected President Mr. Philip Tan of Wellmade Motors & Development Corporation.

The event was also the Launching of the Mandaue Business Month 2012 with the theme "Staying Ahead of the Game," chaired by Ms. Girlie Garces.

Through the formidable talent of Ms. Marylou Ngo-Ang who was the over-all chairman of MCCI's Velada, the Grand Ballroom of Marco Polo Plaza was transformed with elegant sophistication and grandeur fitting for the event.
