Two-dayArtastic!

CEBU, Philippines - Another batch of aspiring artists will be featured in Artastic!’s eye catching two-day exhibit that starts today till tomorrow at the first floor lobby of Banilad Town Center. The exhibit will officially open today at 1 pm and will be available for public viewing during mall hours.

In its second leg, “Artastic!” is proud to celebrate and showcase the imaginative and creative works of students Tia, Jazz and Zoe Rosengrave, Hyun-Seo Lee, Mayella Selma, Skyler Cuenco, Sophie Chiongbian, Zuri Anzani, Ariana Gonzalez, Dior Gothong, Izzie and Kirsten Morissey, Ed and Eve Onglatco, Luke Sarmiento and Ieia Valenzuela. The art featured in this exhibit is the work of these sixteen talented children who are part of the Artastic Art Enrichment Program.

According to Hannah Martinez, creator and teacher of Artastic!, “They have worked on these unique creations over the course of two months where they not only developed their artistic skills, but also learned about the different aspects of art while also making new friends along the way. “

The Artastic! program encourages children to explore and learn about the world of art through the use of different mediums such as watercolor and acrylic painting, drawing, mixed media and crafts among others. It allows them to create art inspired by the work and lives of some of the most famous artists in the world, beautifully illustrated books, nature, movements in art history and much more at the same time gives them a venue to express what they have learned in their own individual styles.
