MacBook Pro with Retina display
CEBU, Philippines - Apple is confident to state that we've never seen anything like the MacBook Pro with Retina display before. This is simply because there's never been anything as such that precedes it.
Apple aficionados are in for a different shopping experience as Digi.life, authorized Apple distributor, carries an impressive array of MAC notebooks - one of which is the MacBook Pro with Retina display.
This computing tool boasts of a Retina display with 5.1 million pixels, all-flash architecture, and quad-core Intel Core i7 processors, a design that's just 0.71-inch thin and 4.46 pounds: true to the promise of delivering the most advanced Mac.
So what exactly is a Retina display?
During the launch of Digi.life concept store, it was learned that Apple wanted this MacBook to have a screen as vivid as our imagination. A screen where everything we see is remarkably vibrant, detailed, and sharp to become the world's highest-resolution notebook display.
I was told that once over five million pixels are packed into a 15.4-inch display, the results are positively stunning. The pixel density is so high your eyes can't discern individual pixels. Images take on a new level of realism and text is guaranteed to be pin-sharp. With a 2880-by-1800 resolution, you can see more of your high-resolution images onscreen with pixel-for-pixel accuracy because Apple wants our best ideas to become our best work.
Moreover, the new Retina display reduces glare while maintaining incredible color and quality. In fact, it has a 29-percent higher contrast ratio than a standard MacBook Pro display. "Blacks are blacker. Whites are whiter. And everything in between is rich and vibrant. IPS technology gives us a wide, 178-degree view of everything on the screen, so we'll see the difference at practically any angle. And we're going to love what we will see," Apple defined.
There is also a bundle of Retina-ready software. Apple updated Apple software to take advantage of the beautiful Retina display. OS X Lion apps - Safari, Mail, iCal, Address Book, and more - as well as iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes, Aperture, and Final Cut Pro have already been optimized, and updates to the other Apple apps are coming soon.
The ninth major release of OS X, Mountain Lion introduces great features that let your Mac work even better with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. With Game Center, Notification Center, Documents in the Cloud, new sharing capabilities, advanced security features, and so much more, you can build the most innovative Mac apps ever. You can download Mountain Lion Developer Preview from the Mac Dev Center.
As for cloud storage, iCloud-enabled apps get the new document library, which shows all of the documents stored in iCloud. So when users create and edit documents in your app, changes are automatically pushed to all their devices so they can access the latest version through your app from any Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
For gaming aficionados, the Game Center can connect users to other Mac and iOS game players around the world and bring the excitement of multiplayer and turn-based gaming to your Mac apps. Game Kit APIs authenticate player accounts, access friend information, report and display scores, unlock achievements, provide multiplayer functionality, and manage voice chats between players. Everything about Apple just gets so amazing and amazing!
MacBook Pro with Retina Display makes sure sharing is made simple for users to connect links, photos, and videos directly from your apps. Users can share content through Twitter, Flickr, Vimeo, Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or you can even add your own share destination.
Further, Gatekeeper is a major new security feature in Mountain Lion that gives users control over which apps can be downloadable and installed on their Mac. You may sign your OS X apps with your Developer ID and give users confidence that they can safely download your app.
