64th Anniversary of Israel Independence

On the occasion of the 64th Anniversary of the Independence of the State of Israel, the Honorary Consul of Israel in Cebu, Mrs. Emily Benedicto Chioson and the Israel Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, with the participation of H.E. the Ambassador of Israel and Madame Menashe Bar-On treated guests to an evening of fun and good company at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel.

The ambassador gave an inspirational message, while Governor Gwendolyn Garcia (our incoming Senator) spoke lengthily on the relationship between Israel and the Province of Cebu, which dates back to over 50 years. Israel Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines President Josef Gueta also had a short message concerning business opportunities in the country particularly in Cebu. The last to speak was Honorary Consul Emily Benedicto Chioson, who thanked everyone for the success of the affair.

After the cocktail party held at the Manila Room, all the guests were invited to watch the performance of renowned author and mentalist, Eran Katz at the Grand Ballroom. Truly an entertainer, he brought the house down!
