A Taste of Cebu on May 19 to 20

CEBU, Philippines - The two-day “A Taste of Cebu” is set to happen this weekend, from May 19 to 20, to be held at the Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu.

Organized by the Hotel, Resort, & Restaurant Association of Cebu, Inc (HRRACI), the event highlights the menu specialties of 14 participating HRRACI member establishments, with booths featuring budget-friendly meal selections priced at Php50, Php100, and Php200 denominations.

The event also highlights a wide range of activities and showcases, with pizza making and cookie decorating activities for children, a Fruit Carving Competition, and an Open Flare (Bartending) Competition.

Maybelle Padillo, who was once tagged as Cebu’s concert queen, will also be present during the event, an added plus to the promising gastronomic adventures to be experienced from the event.

With a portion of proceeds dedicated to benefit Children’s Hour, “A Taste of Cebu” stand’s by the organization’s advocacies and programs, making the event more than just a celebration of quality cuisine creations from some of Cebu’s most established and respected venues.

Participating HRRACI-member establishments to “A Taste of Cebu” would include Cebu City Marriot Hotel, Imperial Palace Water Park Resort & Spa, Plantation Bay Resort & Spa, Cebu Parklane Hotel, Alta Village Resort, Crimson Resort & Spa, Marco Polo Plaza Hotel, Hotel Elizabeth, Laguna Garden Café, La Tegola, PSCA, Radisson Blu Hotel, Alegre Beach Resort & Spa and Shangri-la’s Mactan Resort & Spa.
