Tono, who’ve been in Dubai for three years, brings to Cebu his shawarma creation that is fittingly palatable to Filipino taste. While the roll that he used to munch is stuffed with herbs (coriander, parsley, among others), Tono reinvented a saucy to-go snack. He concocted an original shawarma (barbeque) sauce, the star ingredient, which is a mix of more than five ingredients, as well as the spicy sauce. (FREEMAN)
