CEBU, Philippines - Reading books is fun especially if you’re interested. If you read books, you can learn many things. You can explore anywhere. You can learn the old mechanics in cooking, making fire and many more.

Like teachers and mentors, they read books, then they learn, they acquire knowledge. Then they share it with their pupils.

Through books, the teachers and mentors are leading their pupils to success because the teachers and mentors shared their knowledge to their students.

Books can be our friends. Actually, they can be our bestfriends. They tell us stories like comical books. They don’t lie to us. They tell the truth.

Declaring the “National Reading Month” is great because it inspires those people who love books or the bookworms to read more, learn more, teach and lead more people. So those who will be taught will be inspired in return to “continue the tradition” until everybody will come to love reading, and of course, books.

Anybody can make reading a habit. It is more fun than playing computer games.
