The Real Thing Diner

Venturing out into the food industry, Noelle Cassandra, Asia’s only harpist, singer and songwriter and currently a recording artist under Viva Records, recently opened the first and only Coca-Cola inspired restaurant in the country, The Real Thing Diner!

Giving every customer the TOTAL Coca-Cola experience, you will find many creative American dishes fused with Coca-Cola products. “This includes our drinks that have some of our unique Coca-Cola concoctions and our food, which is made up of our Real Thing Diner’s Signature Dishes. These signature drinks and dishes integrate different Coca-Cola products to selected American comfort food and drinks,” shared Noelle. “We also have a Coca-Cola Swap Night, which allows Coca-Cola collectors from all over the Philippines to meet and swap their collectables. In a nutshell, we aim to transport our customers into the World of Coca-Cola,” she added.

The idea came about because of one of Noelle’s business partners, who used to work for the Coca-Cola Company and has since collected a lot of nice and exclusive company memorabilia. “One day, we were looking at his bookshelves with the full collection on display and we thought that it was such a waste that no one outside of the room would get to appreciate this. Since we both wanted to get into the food industry (let’s face the fact that we all love to eat), we thought to have a display of the collection in a restaurant,” Noelle explained.

With a wide range of wonderful and unique dishes to choose from, the restaurant menu consists of the must-try dishes – the Coca-Cola baby back ribs, Sarsi Buffalo Wings and Royal Tru-Orange Porkchop. “These are dishes that you must see and taste to believe! Our baby back ribs have a smokey flavor added to it, the wings are glazed with a sweet Sarsi glaze and the porkchops marinated in our Royal Tru-Orange sauce have an added orangey zesty flavor. Other dishes to sample are the Spaghetti n Meatballs, Creamy Tomato Soup and Lemon Chicken,” Noelle said.

Decked out with Coca-Cola memorabilia from all around the world, The Real Thing Diner can seat up to 49 people inside and another 15 at the patio and veranda. “We also welcome special events/reservations and cater to birthday parties, baptisms and other corporate events. We are also looking to expand to the Visayas region, Cebu City especially. But for the moment, I’d like to invite all the Cebuanos to The Real Thing Diner to live the Coca-Cola experience! Open Hunger,” Noelle said with a smile.

The Real Thing Diner is located on the 2nd floor of Il Terrazzo Complex along Tomas Morato corner Sct. Madrinan in Quezon City. Opening hours are at 11AM – 2:30PM/5:30PM – 10PM on Sundays to Thursdays and 11AM – 2:30PM/5:30PM – 11PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
