CEBU, Philippines - The Jesuit Community of Cebu comprising those working in the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu, the Sacred Heart Parish, the Jesuit Retreat House, and the Sapak Farm, celebrated the Feast of their founder, St. Ignatius of Loyola last July 31.
The Fiesta Mass was presided by the Most Rev. Archbishop Jose Palma, D.D., and concelebrated by Jesuits, and priests from other religious congregations, as well as diocesan priests. After the Mass, a reception with a short entertaining program was held at the Sacred Heart Center. The Jesuits entertained the guests by singing the “Fundador,” their theme song for St. Ignatius.
