All Around The World in Havaianas

- Kristine Gianna Roa -

CEBU, Philippines - This is key - you don't need an oversized luggage to be the most stylish jetsetter ever. Our boarding passes during the launching of Make Your Own Havaianas 2011 last July 27 pretty much indicated that we had everything we needed at the Atrium of SM North Wing.

Decked like a miniature airport complete with a Havaianas airport lounge designed and provided by Detalia Aurora, our only passport to the 6th annual MYOH was a pair of feet that itches to travel in style and fashion! Why, everyone was in first class!

This year's theme was traveling in personal style and everyone got creative with all the colors and pins depicting favorite destinations all over the world! Our favorites were the Harajuku doll, I heart NY, Coliseum, London Guard and the Eiffel Tower.

The warm reception from Leanne Florendo and Aimil Sarmiento of AL Amizade Marketing Inc., the exclusive sub-distributor for Havaianas in Central and Eastern Visayas, contributed to the huge turnout this year. The ladies gave recognition to individuals who inspire others with their summer spirit and vibe. Mia Arcenas, Paul John Kiener, Mark Lotzof, Michael James Lhuillier, Divine Maitland-Smith and Lani Taylor-Pasquet, were awarded as this year's Havaianas' Citizens of Summer.

Havaianas is available at Rustan's, July (Imperial Palace), Republik, Maribago Blue Water Resort, Abaca Boutique Resort and R.O.X Ayala, or visit www.havaianas.com for more details. (THE FREEMAN)
