CEBU, Philippines - Ever dreamed of stepping into your dream home? Of course, you have. But, pronto? Without need of hauling in a single piece of furniture? That's something else.

AboitizLand, Inc., leading Cebuano property developer, has announced that ready-for-occupancy condominium units are now available at the coveted The Persimmon.

"We have our regular units and we're doing very well selling them, but then, we thought of stretching the convenience factor even further and that's why we're offering ready-for-occupancy (RFO) units," said Grace Lepiten, AboitizLand's Sales Manager.

RFO units are generously furnished. The living area comes with a loveseat, a lounge chair, entertainment table and end table. The dining area also has a dining table and chairs. Bedrooms are furnished with beds and linens, a wardrobe cabinet and side table. 

Each unit is fitted with cabinetry and shelves, including a shoe cabinet, and Opple lighting fixtures.

The RFO unit is also fitted with LCD television, refrigerator, microwave oven, electric cooking range, airconditioning, and front-loading washing machine and dryer.

Lepiten dubs the latest offering of AboitizLand as "the ultimate in convenience". "It's like moving into a hotel room, for good. All you need to do is pack up your personal stuff and move in." she explains.

Highlighting new developments in the village's financing options, Lepiten disclosed that AboitizLand has made it even easier and quicker for vecinos (Spanish for neighbors; AboitizLand's term for its homeowners, clients) to enjoy their new homes.

In a landmark partnership with Banco de Oro (BDO), AboitizLand is now able to make housing units available for vecinos to move into upon payment of 10 percent the unit's contract price. The remaining 90 percent is payable over a five- to fifteen-year term through BDO's home financing program. 

The Persimmon is a much-awaited enclave of four residential condominium towers with a commercial-entertainment hub, The Persimmon Plus, as its anchor. Launched in 2008, the village's West Tower was turned over last year. The North Tower is due for turnover this year.

It has become the gold standard of condominium development in Cebu and the Visayas.

The village offers a breath of fresh air to the harried urban dweller with its generous softscapes, swimming pool and other amenities.

Each 15-storey tower has landscaped open spaces, its own function and board rooms and administration and security offices. Studio, one-, two-bedroom and loft units are available for vecinos to choose from.
