Quincy Pascual's Christening
For extremely proud parents, Arturo Bo” and Cheryl (neë Dayanan) Pascual, their little blessing, Arturo Joaquin Rafael “Quincy” Pascual was christened on the 4th of June 2011 at the St. Francis Xavier Chapel of the Sacred Heart Parish. This bundle of joy was named after a combination of both the couple’s parents. The name Rafael came from Quincy’s great-grand father.
The ceremony, officiated by Rev. Fr. Sherwin Ferrater, was made complete by Quincy’s godparents – Rachel Cabriles, Matthew Castillo, Dr. Rebecca Castillo, Dr. Davy Brian Chua, February Vanessa Eyac, Dr. Mitzchel Merin, Darlene Moliva and Winsel Moliva, who truly welcomed this little bundle.
Quincy was formally presented to the rest of his family members and friends at the East Aurora Towers Condominium Roof Deck in Kasambagan Mabolo, Cebu City for the dinner reception. The theme was a combination of religious symbols with paper cutouts of doves, flowers and crosses in sky and royal blue and white with accents of pastels in pink, yellow and green. Transformed into a child’s paradise, the balloons and decors were provided by Hannah’s Cake Decors, the food catered by Creative Cuisine and the cake created by Trina of Cake Couture (together with the help of Bo and Cheryl’s combined ideas, a cake with Quincy’s name on toy cake cubes surrounded by cupcakes). On this clear evening sky, guests were also invited to view the power telescope, compliments of Mr. Tamiyu Akutsu, to view the planet Saturn and the crescent moon as nursery rhymes and songs played in the background that evening.
Bo and Cheryl would personally like to thank their parents, their families and friends most especially Beverly Dayanan, Nolito Dayanan, Vanessa Eyac and Shirley Montalban for all their help and support. Congratulations to both Bo and Cheryl on the christening of their wonderful baby boy, Quincy!
