Cebu International School Stages Rock and Roll Musical

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu International School (CIS) is staging a musical entitled “Little Stars” this March 18 and 19 in the Dragon Dome at their Talamban campus. The production will showcase the talents of CIS students accompanied by a live band.

Written specially for elementary to high school students by Steven Harris, Catherine Field, and Erin Hardy, the play is from Maverick Musicals in Australia and is one-of-a-kind in Cebu.

Little Stars is about five finalists (and their neurotic parents) as they compete in a national TV hit sensation singing competition seeking the next Little Star. Similar to the popular Idol TV series, the rock and roll musical features crooked judges, hyperactive presenters and a live studio audience.

CIS is inviting the Binaliw Public School for a free show Friday afternoon before the gala performance.

The gala performance will start at 7:00 PM for both Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19. Tickets are available for pre-purchase at P200 until Thursday, March 17 at the CIS Cashier. Regular ticket price is P250 at the door.
