For the Love of Isabel

CEBU, Philippines - Remember Isabel, the cuddly handmade rag doll? We featured her last year in one of our Kidstuff issues.

To refresh your memories, Isabel was created by Ate Sabel from Basak, Pardo, Cebu. She’s made from scrap colorful fabrics, patched together to form one beautiful doll. You can dress her up since when you buy her from Anthill Gallery in Gorordo, Lahug, it comes with another set of clothes.

However, Isabel is now sold out. So, we need your help to create more Isabel by bringing in your old shirts and clothes this February. Anthill Fabric Gallery is organizing this Scrap Collection Campaign to bring smiles to children who’ll soon own an Isabel doll. Anthill Fabric Gallery is located in Mariposa Street, Gorordo Avenue.
