Life: The Eco-Friendly Paint

CEBU, Philippines - Planning to redecorate to greet the new year? Now you can do so without the irritating smell of paint!

Treasure Island Industrial Corporation, the makers of Island Paints recently introduced Life, an odor-less anti-microbial paint that is low in Volatile Organic Compound, and is resistant to algae and fungi.

Amy Joy Ong of Island Paints said Life is their eco-friendly line that is best suited for interior walls and ceilings of hospitals, hotel rooms, bedrooms, classrooms and nurseries.

“Most people are now going for eco-friendly products. Life is our contribution. Because it has low volatile organic compounds, it emits less hazardous compound that damage the environment. This type of paint also has no unpleasant smell,” she added.

Aside from being environment-friendly, Life paints contain an additive compound that helps reduce the growth of disease-causing bacteria such as E. coli, staphylococcus aureus and pseudomonas aeruginosa. These type of paints are also resistant to most stains and has a good scrub resistance.

Life by Island Paints is available in white and pastel shades.
