CEBU, Philippines - This year’s traditional Christmas theme brings to life the western flavors including a display of ginger bread houses at the heart of the lobby and the traditional Christmas tree, a towering greeting to the guests upon arrival.
The lighting, décor and music created an ambiance at lobby that brought in all the holiday fun and spirit.
Making the celebration extra special is Santa Claus, who made his way down the chimney to the lobby to personally greet each guest while talented children from Children’s Joy Foundation brought in the Christmas melodies with their rendition of our favorite Christmas songs.
The wishing tree is once again lighted; this has been a part of the Hilton tradition in the past years. This has been actively supporting and bringing hope to children during Christmas through gift giving and fun-filled day’s activity. This year’s beneficiary is Kythe Foundation, an organization that lends a hand to children who have cancer.
The wishing tree enables all Hilton guests and team members to be a Santa Claus by granting children’s wishes. Cards with the children’s simple Christmas wishes are hung on the Christmas tree. Everyone is welcome to pick a card and grant a child’s wish.
