Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort

CEBU, Philippines - Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort officially opened the Christmas season with their annual Parol-lighting ceremony, dubbed “Come Walk Among the Stars.” Held at the Seven Dolphins Rotunda, lanterns were lit, each dedicated to select charitable foundations and advocacies. They were the true “stars” of the evening for their selfless work to help the unfortunate and underprivileged. The winner of last year’s Daygon sa Bluewater choral contest, Babag I Elementary School Choir, performed during the activity while the UC Chorus brought in the holiday spirit with their awe-inspiring renditions of Filipino carols. Basak Night High School was declared winner of the annual parol-making contest. This year’s theme was the “Filipino Christmas Lantern” with 12 schools from Lapu-lapu and Mandaue cities participating.
