Despedida Galore!

PEOPLE PLACES - Flor S. YNCLINO -

The Jesu Christi Community hosted for Dennis and Glenna Parrilla who have uprooted themselves to stay in Canada. The couple had since left for Toronto, Canada and promised to be back, commuting between the Philippines and icy Canada.

Another despedida dinner was for Don and Baby Smith from Florida and Gemma Burns of California. The honorees were in Cebu for a month and enjoyed every moment of their stay here.

Also from California were Gemmar Kaw and Mom GT. They came to attend a wedding of their relatives in Bohol. Just breezing into town for a week but they were just as happy.

Back from a three-month stay in Florida, Linda Du looked so relaxed. Her daughters, Lally and LiAnne made sure their mom had a wonderful time. In fact, she had a cruise to Alaska which made her trip quite memorable. To Linda, welcome home.

For Maeng and Stella Carolino, as if the three weeks tour of New York, Chicago and Washington D.C. was not enough. Actually, Stella had a reunion with her former colleagues in the Philippine Association of Secretaries (PAS) headed by charter president Addie Sarthou Batongmalaque. Yes, for the first timers in the US, three weeks was not enough. The next reunion will be in Las Vegas, Nevada next year.
