Father's Day At The Persimmon

CEBU, Philippines - Families converged at The Persimmon Plus in Mabolo along with their pets to celebrate Father’s Day last June 19.

The fun-filled celebration included exciting adventure races, cool pet shows, and enjoyable games and contests. There were also eight stations where kids and parents absolutely had fun: the Balloon Race, Sack Race, Sipak Station, Blind folds, Balloon Blowing, Coin Finds, Mummy Station and Bright Smile Station.

It was Pet Gathering Day at the same time, where 11 Pet Clubs in the city were represented. There’s the Arachnida Club, Pug Club of Cebu, Island Rescue Organization (IRO), Cebu Ultimate Turtle Enthusiast (CUTE),Rott Club, Chow Club, Guinea Pig Club, Pitbull Club, Agility Club, Cebu Falconry, Baw Haws. Pet owners shared their pets with everyone who wished to play with them. There were tarantulas, scorpions, snakes, a falcon, guinea pigs and lovely dogs all over! –Airynne June D.
