Get Ready for a Premier Culinary Education

-

CEBU, Philippines - Last May 16, The Academy for International Culinary Arts celebrated the opening of their first branch outside of Manila. The celebration kicked off with a blessing ceremony followed by cocktails. The gathering was small and intimate, composed of family and close friends of owners Michael Moreno Tiaoqui and Chef Johann Chiongbian Young. The guests were seated comfortably in the spacious student lounge where they talked for hours over delicious food and desserts.

“I’m excited and at the same time overwhelmed to literally see the school. This school (Cebu campus) was our vision for a long time, and seeing it in reality is gratifying”, said Michael. For six years, Michael has been heading The Academy- Manila, and now, Chef Johann will be handling The Academy- Cebu. “I’m confident that our Cebu operations will run smoothly because we have an excellent team. AICA- Cebu is very lucky to have Chef Nikko Mabugat as its School Director.”

Since 2004, The Academy for International Culinary Arts has been successful in the Manila scene, priding itself in providing world-class culinary education. And in 2009, Michael and Chef Johann felt that Cebu was ready for The Academy’s Premier International Culinary Arts program. Equipped with the industry’s top professionals, AICA will create masters that are armed with the competitive skills and knowledge to succeed in the culinary arena. From a full diploma course to course customization, The Academy offers a wide array of choices for various specializations to cater to your culinary preferences.

The Academy- Cebu is now accepting enrollees for the June 2010 batch. AICA is located at The Gallery, Juan Luna St. corner Golam Drive, Mabolo. For inquiries, you may call Hermie at 032 3164828 or visit www.aicaculinary.com PR
