CEBU, Philippines - May marks the end of summer yet it brings with it a festive mood as fiestas ring vibrant in different parts of the Philippines.
Last May 7, Montebello Villa Hotel celebrated their third Corporate Elite Organization (CEO) night by promoting our Philippine Heritage. Themed “Fiesta sa Nayon,” the night featured dances from different areas around the nation plus a sumptuous buffet that consisted of food from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
First launched on January 27 this year, the CEO night showcases different themes. The first CEO night had a garden theme and the second CEO night had an anime theme showing how Montebello still has a knack for keeping up with the times. The third CEO night was held for the different companies around Visayas and Mindanao and with the theme “Fiesta sa Nayon,” it hoped to promote Filipino culture through its food and dances.
Rey Fuentes, Montebello Villa Hotel’s general manager, shared that other than uplifting Filipino culture, the night was also all about presenting with pride to the different guests of Montebello, the local performers’ competency and creative artistry. True enough, the crowd seemed very pleased as they watched Filipino dance moves mixed with hyper and modern dance moves.
When asked what CEO night was generally about, Jason Lim, Head of Banquet Sales and Events also shared that CEO night is really about promoting Montebello Hotel as a hotel that’s filled with the vibrancy of youth despite its age.
Montebello Villa Hotel is Cebu’s only garden hotel. It is a destination for business and leisure. It is a resort within a city, with a laidback, restful, peaceful and quiet atmosphere. ?
