Award Winning Filipino Author Miguel Syjuco Coming To Cebu

CEBU, Philippines – National Book Store gives everyone the chance to meet and greet the Filipino author who has garnered the praises and admiration of writers from all over the world. Miguel Syjuco, the first Filipino author who has won the Man Asian Literary Award in 2008 for “Ilustrado,” is coming to Philippines.

Praised for his virtuoso use of language and fictional techniques, Miguel Syjuco will be in the Philippines for a book signing tour of Ilustrado on April 11 at National Book Store Ayala Cebu at 11am.

“Ilustrado” uncovers a family saga of four generations tracing 150 years of Philippine history in a story of politics, revolution and struggle. “Ilustrado” will be available at National Book Store this April for P385.
