DODONG GULLAS receives Perlas Award
The University of the Visayas’ Executive Vice President and The FREEMAN’s chairman, Dr. Jose “Dodong” Gullas, was recently awarded with the Perlas Award for being a valuable educator and purveyor of Cebuano classics. The award, given last March 11 during the awarding ceremonies at the SM Cinema 1, came because of Gullas’ efforts in establishing the Halad Museum, which houses memorabilia from Cebu’s legendary musicians and paintings of Cebuano artists. To Sir Dodong, congratulations and may our Sr. Santo Niño bless you!
