AN IMPERIAL DAY

CEBU, Philippines - A pre-Valentine’s lunch invitation from Ann Ditching of Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort and Spa gave us more than just a taste of the sumptuous fare from Café Familia, one of the many dining choices at the newest attraction in Mactan Island.

Café Familia offers a buffet that features a wide array of local and international dishes to suit whatever type of food fancy.

The dessert spread was also equally enticing that you can’t help but make room for it as they are a delight to both the eyes and the palate.

After lunch, we got a chance to visit the other parts of the hotel including the suite rooms that offered great views and verandahs that could definitely make your stay very relaxing that you might wish time will stand still.

We also stopped by the water park, which is the crown jewel of Imperial Palace.

The scene of happy kids swimming at the pool along with their parents proves that the resort is indeed a popular destination for family vacations.

We didn’t stay the whole day, but experienced more than enough to know that Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort and Spa will definitely be top on our list. — Contributed by Joy T. Uy
