Golden Haven Memorial Park Inc. held the grand launch of Palazzo Laterano recently with the renowned all-professional choir Huni. A special lighting ceremony highlighted Palazzo Laterano, a picturesque open-air Italian-inspired columbary masterpiece with life-size statues of Christ the Redeemer and the four evangelists Johannes, Matteus, Lucas and Marcus.
Inspired by its namesake, the palace in ancient Rome that later became the residence of the Popes for several years before it became a museum at the Vatican, the Palazzo Laterano at Golden Haven is finished in travertine stone, the same stone cladding used in the façade of the St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. It has a fountain and pond where one can light floating candles.
