Dressing up for the Holidays

CEBU, Philippines - Penshoppe, a proudly Cebu-based brand, recently launched its Holiday Collection, as well as two Cebuano members of Club Pen, the clothing line’s roster of endorsers.

Dressing up for the holidays need not be complicated as Penshoppe’s message for the young and hip is “Less is more.”

Plaids, checks and ginghams are the key styles of the season, according to the clothing brand but Penshoppe gives more styling freedom with bomber jackets, boyfriend-fit cardigans, drapey tunics and vests. VP for Marketing Albert Ong said the brand challenges everyone’s personal style with a focus on basics and layering pieces.

Aside from introducing its Holiday Collection, Penshoppe also introduced the newest members of Club Pen, who are also Cebuano – Annette Louise Osmeña and Piero Sainz-Vergara.

Annette is a junior at the Cebu International High School. She is a great example of beauty and brains as she is also very serious about her academics and plays for her school’s volleyball team.

Piero, meanwhile, is a senior at the Marie Ernestine School. He may look familiar because he is one of the contestants of GMA-7’s StarStruck. Piero loves painting, sketching and has been involved in musical plays since he was in grade school.

If you want to be hip and cool for the holidays, think Penshoppe. – Quennie S. Bronce
