Clone me now!

CEBU, Philippines - By the  time you read this, I would already be out of the country with some medical research team in an undisclosed facility working on my gene strands for multiplicity. If the reason for this decision isn’t too obvious, well it’s because I could no longer keep up! Keep up with all the nightly scenes around town that I now need to split my self into many.

Though this happened on the last part of June, Big Fish’s 10th anniversary at the Vudu Lounge left a lasting impression to the city’s hardcore clubbers. Known for taking dance partying to the next level, the production team and Cebu’s premiere lounge, had guests come out in their immaculate white for the evening’s theme of Purity, Unity and Seduction. Unfortunately (I couldn’t reiterate this more), the real me was unable to make it to this magical dance event (well, I was languishing in an island resort), thanks to my clone who fed me all the details of the night. Yes, party people I still know what you did this summer.

On a similar occasion, Alejandro’s Filipino Resto celebrated its first year of Disco Saturdays. As usual, the ‘One’ celebration was packed with dancing bodies groovin’ the beats provided by DJs Nikki Taylor and Marvin Evangelista. Well, of course the ‘one’ me had to divide my time between this and another Saturday must-do, Formo’s Disco Deluxe.

Whew! Multiply me now! Because in between, I took time to drop by Vudu’s Thursday band nights. I just love it when UK Lily and Pandora dish out those 80s classics. It definitely is Deja-Vudu.

And finally, making its mark in Cebu’s clubbing scene is the Loft and Penthouse. I got the privilege to taste its own flavor when international DJ Paul Thomas spun for one night his own brand of house music surging into an evening of unparalleled level of dancing euphoria.

Just in case you see me everywhere next month, don’t creep out. Because wherever you glance and turn there will be a many-me to cover all that’s happening. Whoa!
