That which inspired maquillage maven Wenwen Zaspa, collaborating with hairstylist Manuel Pila and photographers Mickie Go and Dan Ong so much, and voila maquillage magic!

Smoldering kohl eyes in black, plum, canary yellow and purple? Why not? Though these looks are not for the faint-hearted, the message is clear. “When you have dark eyes, balance it well with pale lips or the other way around. Rouge is optional!” bared the featured artist. Most naturally, these runway looks can be translated to real life by toning it down. And since even the best beauty products don’t apply themselves, subtlety is key. “Start with a saturated color and apply minimally until desired effect is achieved,” Zaspa added.
