CEBU, Philippines – With new structures mushrooming around the North Reclamation area in Mandaue City, entrepreneurs feast on the developments and join the bandwagon to further cater to the needs of the new clientele. Happy Meals Plaza is the latest addition to the list of dining options in the area that has a unique feature: a specialty food court.

Owner Sally C. Uy, from Bacolod City, considers Happy Meals Plaza her unique venture since it is the only food court outside the mall premises with an al fresco ambience. With 17 food outlets and three food carts, Happy Meals Plaza is a rare gastro joint that focuses on a great tenant mix – a strategy used to pull together different exciting tenant offerings. Each food outlet has its own specialty. Among the food outlets at HMP are Mommy Lei, Conching’s Native Chicken, Dos Angelito’s Pizza, and many others. From dimsum and toppings to native dishes, lechon to desserts and sweets to munch, HMP has everything.

The 1,250 square-meter food court is equipped with LCD TVs, electric fans, sturdy dining sets that can seat a maximum of 200 diners, regularly sanitized utensils and well-maintained restrooms. The area is also a WiFi zone with free internet access to be more consumer-friendly. An internet café, coffee shop, water-refilling station and convenience store will soon rise to complete the whole plaza.
