HKTB invites local and overseas catering sectors to join HK wine & dine festival

CEBU, Philippines – The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has set up a booth at HOFEX 2009 – The 13th Asian International Exhibition of Food and Drink, Hotel, Restaurant & Foodservice Equipment, Supplies & Services – taking place in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

At the Exhibition, staff of the HKTB distributed brochures about the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival to exhibitors.  A vignette showing the initial concept of the event was also screened at the booth, which is also available on the HKTB’s website (http://www.discoverhongkong.com/hkfoodandwineyear/eng/food_wine_year/world_festival.jsp).

The anchor event of HKTB’s Hong Kong Food and Wine Year, the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival will be held from October 30 to November 8, 2009, during which HKTB will set up booths and pavilions showcasing fine wine from all over the world and Hong Kong’s dining delights, as well as arrange live entertainment, on the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade.
