A White Despedida de Soltera Party

CEBU, Philippines - In keeping with time honored Filipino tradition, party couple Ed and Helen Misa recently hosted a despedida de soltera for their daughter Christine prior to her wedding to promising architect Gil Coscolluela.

Held at the WalingWaling Resort in Boracay, guests in casual white attire enjoyed refreshing margaritas, sparkling wines and spirits.

The soon-to-wed couple opted to wear outfits in shades of blue to reflect the bridal theme. Christine was radiant in her empire bustier flowing gown while Gil was casually dressed in light blue collared shirt and beige beach shorts.

Invitees from Cebu who flew in for the celebration included Maxi and Marivic Borromeo, Gabby Leyson and his partner Tina Jordana, long time US resident Ningning Salcedo and gym buff Anita San Jose.

Being surrounded by family and close friends made the party an intimate and lively experience. Everyone was eager to partake of the bigger celebration that would take place the following day, when Christine and Gil would say their I do’s and begin a lifetime of commitment to love, happiness and family.
