Summer Fit

CEBU, Philippines – Summer is yet another season to dress up and don fab, sizzling garbs in sync with the hot weather. Ah, our minds are so full of summer junkets to earn us those tan lines we’ve longed for a year or so, not to mention the shopping spree in search for that beach ensemble to show off while basking under the scorching heat.

Nestea has been in the forefront when it comes to beach volley and organizers always end each tourney with a bang. To end this year’s tournament, a fashion spectacle featuring an entire collection of sensual outfits, perfect for summer frolicking was held.

When DJ Miko Syquia started spinning and cranked up the volume, AD Models Homme et Femme and stars like Polo Ravales and ex PBB housemate Niña Jose sashayed down the runway and flashed PJ Arañador’s creations exclusively made for Nestea. The keen-eyed Arañador, an international fashion designer, has long been designing summer wardrobes for Nestea.

His newest collection, Hot & Fit Body of Work, is divided into five segments namely the Cool Bodies that got inspiration from the Greek gods and goddesses featuring white, flowing materials; Sensual Travel that gets inspiration from global ethnic flair; Sexy Beach that highlights floral playful/tropical designs and hues; Second Wind which utilizes the yellow and black shades with patterns that matches the racing flag to connote speed and endurance; and Gym & Fit that defines the hot season with the use of red hot wash, symbolizing an active and fun lifestyle. Arañador is known for his contemporary yet simple and elegant creations and this new showcase exude exactly that. The latest beach collection is for the fit summer bod.

The fashion show was a kick off to Nestea’s street party and at the same time the culmination extravaganza of the three-day Beach Volleyball National Circuit ‘09.
