Metro Stores join Earth Hour

CEBU, Philippines – Metro Gaisano stores in Cebu: Colon, Mandaue and Ayala, and branches in Legazpi, Lucena and Market!Market! will be switching off 70 percent of its common lights and equipment for one hour. This signifies Metro’s support to the global effort to save mother Earth tonight from 8:30 to 9:30 PM.

The store will be able to save a total of 2,362.50 kilowatts of power equivalent to 449.039 kg of Carbon Dioxide.      

Metro stores help spread the campaign to all its customers and stakeholders to join in this important and worthwhile endeavor.
