Twenty years ago, Cebu Holdings, Inc. (CHI) started with a single space and a big vision. The deliberate and calculated transformation of this space now spans two decades, with a master-planning that has more than changed our land but has enriched lives and fashioned a new social fabric from where new patterns and textures of community life have begun.

CHI has moved the region forward with expert real estate development. Last December 15, Cebu Holdings celebrated its 20 years with its major stakeholders and the rest of the Cebuano community with a triple event, celebrating as well the re-launch and 10th anniversary of the Cebu City Marriott Hotel, and the grand opening of Ayala Center’s The Terraces.

Ayala Center Cebu is the centerpiece of Cebu Business Park, CHI’s flagship project. Also on December 15 was the grand opening of its latest addition, The Terraces. The redeveloped lagoon is now a refreshing space which organizes the newest concepts in dining and entertainment in multi-level decks, louvered escalator towers and covered walkways. It is envisioned to be a landmark of celebrations and a reflection of a lifestyle that is uniquely Cebuano.

The third celebration for the evening was the re-launch and 10th anniversary of the Cebu City Marriott Hotel. Cebu City Marriott Hotel is the first truly international business hotel which offers world class accommodations for the savvy business and leisure guests. Because it is seamlessly connected to the lifestyle destination, Ayala Center Cebu, guests have an easy access to endless shopping and entertainment possibilities. Cebu City Marriott Hotel, managed by Marriott International, is a joint venture of Cebu Holdings Inc. (37 percent) and Ayala Hotels Inc. (63 percent).

The transformation of 20 years continues. The future which is tomorrow is taking shape today from CHI visionaries who are emboldened by the community’s trust. The company continues to create milestones as it continues to create landmarks, set standards, build and sustain relationships.
