The Good, The Bad and The Difference

- Kristalle Marie Garcia-Kekert -

You might or might not have read this book or might have at least come across it once before. It is one that explains how to tell right from wrong under everyday circumstances, put together for tangled up situations, written by Randy Cohen.

Grippingly, this book’s content consists of chapters on Commercial Life, Work Life, Civic Life, Social Life, Family Life, School Life, Medical Life, Demanding a Recant as well as The Ten Toughest Questions. A few random questions are thrown in at the side, too, such as Do You Tell? “Out of town on business, in a hotel bar, I saw a good friend’s husband entwined with another woman. If I tell, my friend will be devastated and she might hate me for it. If I don’t, I’m joining her rotten husband in conspiring to deceive her. Should I tell?” or Heir Unapparent – Leave Money to Kids? “We are writing a will and want to leave all our money to our two children. One is very rich and the other lives almost hand-to-mouth. Do we divide equally or give the poorer one a greater proportion?”

I reckon that this book can be helpful in one way or another as it can help make matters much easier. Young or old, we sometimes get caught in different situations and have trouble getting out of it. At one point, I even said to myself laughing, “Hey, why didn’t I even think of that!”

“The Good, The Bad and The Difference”. Although people will always have different ethics, this book could open their minds to a different way of thinking.
