CCHDFEA Affair

The Cebu City Health Department Former Employees Association will hold a formal induction and first grand reunion on December 7 at 4 p.m. at the Grand Convention Center.

The officers to be inducted are Dr. Felicitas L. Manaloto, president; Bella V. Veloso, vice president – internal; Lydia Toledo, vice president – external; Dr. Rosita Salang and Emma Sauro Bangal, treasurers; Manuel Damaolao and Norma Figuracion, secretaries; Dr. Rosemarie Tirado and Susan Calero, PROs; Dr. Rafaela Isidro and Dr. Edesa Sanchez, auditors; Pat Gomez and Santos Gonzales, sergeants at arms; Atty. Ronaldo Guaren is the legal counsel. Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama will be the inducting officer.

The Elementary Department of the University of the Visayas held its annual Intramurals with the theme: Visayanian in Excellence through Sports and Academic Competition. Principal Ms. Venus Martinez Cortes gave her welcome address and athletics director Mr. Chris Mejarito declared the tournament open. Highlight of the affair was the selection of Mr. and Miss UV Elementary Intramurals 2008. The members of the board of judges were Mejarito (chairperson), HRD officer Debbie Joyce Robles and assistant budget officer Dr. Isabelita Burasca.

The members of the Solo Parents Organization gathered together at the Casino Español de Cebu led by active president Taling dela Riarte. The gathering was in honor of five members who celebrated their birthday together. They were Nan Fuentes, Inday Javelosa, Nanny Lao, Annie Agudo and Helen Su.
