Cool gadgets in Philips Store at Park Mall

The Philips Store at the ground floor of Park Mall, which formally opened last October 21, is the brand’s first concept store in the country. It is designed to simulate the setting in which most of the products on display will be used most of the time – at home. The store gives buyers the best context in which to appreciate the electronic products.

The store, which is managed and operated by the First Family Appliance, showcases an enclosed listening and viewing room, which invites customers to have a true cinematic experience as they view movies on the latest and top of the line LCD TVs while listening to heart-pumping sounds from state-of-the-art home theater systems. Food and beverage gadgets are displayed at a cozy kitchen corner, where actual demonstrations on the juicers, blenders and rice cookers take place. Other products featured in the store are DVD players, portable entertainment systems, the new Go Gear line of portable media players, accessories and peripherals, personal care products, hair care tools, air and environment care products and home lighting systems.

“We chose Cebu as the location of the first Philips Concept Store primarily because Cebu is one of the fastest growing markets in the country and we believe that our products best suit the taste of the discriminating and techie Cebuano market,” said Philips Consumer Lifestyle National Sales Manager Vic Caindec. He added that the products of Philips are geared towards lifestyle, healthcare and wellness because the company’s mission is to touch people’s lives with their products.
