Trendy, stylish MAGS

A plain housewife who got bored and wanted to put up a small business is the story behind MAGS, a boutique which boasts of unique and trendy collections of women’s apparel, footwear and accessories.

MAGS, which opened only last October 18 at the second level of the SM City Cebu, is the brainchild of Mags Cue, a housewife-turned-businesswoman from Cagayan de Oro City.

“I was a simple housewife then and I wanted to do something like open a boutique. My idea was to open a simple one so we opened a small boutique in downtown Cagayan de Oro,” shared Mags.

But soon after, Mags realized that her business was growing fast. She then opened another store at the Limketkai Mall, then in Davao, then at the Maze at the Ayala Center Cebu, and then in Iloilo. The SM City Cebu branch is the latest and she is set to open another branch at the SM City North Edsa.

Items at MAGS boutiques are really unique. This is because Mags, a fashionista herself, chooses the designs of the clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. She then has these items made in countries like Vietnam and Thailand.

“Our items here are really trendy, stylish and durable. We make it a point to be up to date with what’s the latest in fashion. And our products are also very affordable,” she said.
