Somatic therapy at MC Back to Health Center

Facing our daily activities is a big challenge. But these challenges will soon wear out our bodies and cause mental, emotional, spiritual and physical stress.

There are many ways to rejuvenate our tired and weary bodies and one of them is somatic therapy.

Somatic therapy, a holistic therapy for the heart, mind, body and spirit to relieve anxiety and stress, is available at the MC Back to Health Center. The center, a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, specializes in advanced therapy for muscular pain and injuries. It provides orthopedic massage therapy through Mat-Myoskeletal Alignment Technique and Acupressure. The center uses Qi Gong machine and Gua Sha tool in attending to their patients.

The center’s somatic therapist, Melche J. Caudor, is one of the best in the field. He was recently invited by Dr. Vicki Belo to treat some of her patients at the Belo Medical Clinic in Manila. Among those who experienced somatic therapy were singer/actress Karyll, Vivian Yuchengco of the Philippine Stock Exchange, former minister Jolly Benitez and his wife Joanne, and the CEO of JAKA Group of Co. Katrina Enrile.
