Cebu signs new twin city programs in Taipei and Kuala Lumpur

During the three-day event, Skal Asian Area president Earl Wieman, Skal Kuala Lumpur President Ivo Nekvapil and Skal Cebu President Charles Lim signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a twinning program of their Skal clubs.
The MOU encourages the support of each other’s tourism and cultural projects; the exchange of personal visits of Skalleagues, their families and associates, the encouragement of “Doing Business Among Friends” – the main practice of Skal International, and the undertaking of joint-projects within framework of Skal International.

Other clubs were represented by Mr. George Juico (Skal Manila president), Mr. John Orola Skal Bacolod president), and Ms. Vida Konst (Skal Davao).
All Skal guests stayed in
Lim, at the culminating dinner on March 29, thanked Skal Cebu members, and attributed the success of the event to the assistance given by Tourism Secretary Joseph Ace Durano, Undersecretary Edu Jarque and Region 7 Regional Director Patria Aurora Roa.
Skal is the biggest international organization of the tourism and travel industry, with 22,000 members in more than 500 clubs and in more than 80 countries.
