Hot Haute Summer

Big on brights seemed like an understatement as tanned runway mannequins with sleek coif in a wet ponytail barraged the citrus yellow multi-tiered runway at the SM Northwing’s latest installation of Haute Summer. Even the eye color splashed on the models’ sun kissed faces were playfully bright.

High-end labels like Espada, Chocolate, Forme, Just G, Bayo, Space, Red Hot Chili, Loalde, BySi, Karimadon, Shapes, and Kultura Filipina followed the bright bandwagon with saturated colors and bold combinations with occasional hints of dazzling white. Main attraction of this season were dresses, color blocked separates and frenzy feeding accessories like big bags, shades and color drenched footwear most notably ruby slippers and cerulean platforms from Charles and Keith and Havaianas respectively.

Summer takes on a whole new meaning with the whole collection of must haves that ensure a high fashion quotient from the beach to the boardroom to an evening soiree!
