To celebrate the start of the summer season, Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa features “Touch the Heart”— a 10-day dim sum festival at Tea of Spring, from April 10 to 18, featuring specialty dishes from Makati Shangri-La’s dim sum chef Yip Kam Wing.
Aside from the regular a la carte dim sum menu, Chef Yip brings in more than 20 years of experience as a dim sum chef to present popular dim sum dishes such as Steamed Shrimp Dumplings with Asparagus, Fried Cuchay Dumplings with Shrimp and Deep Fried Beef Dumplings with Water Chestnut.
Chef Yip began specializing in dim sum in his native Hong Kong, working for famous restaurants around the territory, including a stint at the Peninsula Hotel and the Shanghai Portman Hotel, before his current post in Makati Shangri-La, Manila.
With delectable dishes in small eats, the dim sum selection in “Touch the Heart” will surely have guests order to their hearts’ delight.
