And the Havaianas go to...the Oscar nominees!

-

“Style developed especially for the occasion will be offered to the statuette’s main contenders.”

For the sixth consecutive year, Havaianas has the honor of being invited to be part of the “Oscar Basket”, a choice set of products that go to the main stars nominated for the highest award in the international movie industry, celebrating its 80th year now. The Oscar Basket includes....

Two styles – one women’s and the other men’s - will be given to the nominees. The women’s style is the Havaianas Slim Crystal Mesh, gold, with straps decorated with Swarovski crystals by artisans from the Brazilian state of Paraiba. The men’s style is the Top Metalic, also gold. Both were developed by ALMAPBBDO.

Among the recipients are the actors, George Clooney, Daniel Day Lewis, Javier Barden, Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard and Ruby Dee, and the directors Jason Reitman, Ethan and Joel Cohen.

Famous in the United States and Europe, “the genuine ones” have been worn by stars on the walk of fame for a long time. Initially seen on the feet of our internationally known Brazilian models, they have gained popularity and today are part of celebrities’ wardrobes, who can’t do without the simple glamour that only Havaianas can provide.

Do they deserve an Oscar or not?

Havaianas are available at: All Flip-Flops, Rustans, What Girl Wants, What A Girl Wants For Her Man, Chocolate Clothing Company, July, Republik, Maribago Bluewaters and Plantation Bay Resort and Spa.
