In Search of Malnourished Children
Discovering many with poor hygiene, drug addiction, unwanted pregnancies and very poor nutrition together with malnutrition begun the mission to (1) educate mothers on proper nutrition (2) educate mothers on proper hygiene (3) teach mothers on Christian doctrines and beliefs and (4) educate the mothers to become self-sufficient, while the vision is to restore the good health of the children and to lift up the physical, spiritual and moral aspect of the children and their families.
Seeing the children smiling, giggling and laughing away during the feeding made it almost hard to imagine that most of them are born to single mothers of whom are struggling to survive. Thankfully, this organisation, Collegium Societatis Angeli Pacis Feeding Centre in Tangke, Talisay in connection with Monsignor Cris Garcia, Sister Mary Lucy Angela Baker SAP, Sister Mary Therese Canada SAP and the Society Angel of Peace Brothers made it very rewarding for the children together with the staff, Serena (cook), Pining (secretary), Sally (property custodian), Gloria (nutritionist) and Emie (pharmacist) respectively.
