Miss Cebu 2008: Back to Glamour

What's Cinderella without her voluminous ballgown and glass slippers? It most definitely made a grand entrance for all to notice on that particularly enchanted evening. That's the case with our modern beauty queens (or princesses). What are they without the designers' frocks swathed in their lithe bodies?

This year's Miss Cebu Pageant is a grand arena of  designer  wear from the blanc et noir opening portion to the fun funwear then to the evening gowns. For CCTC Commissioner and designer Philip Rodriguez - "We are inspired by the screen goddesses of the bygone era this this year is inspired by glamour." And glamorous the 12 candidates will be on the coronation night and basing on the spread here as styled by Protacio and Edwin Ao.

The lucky 12 will have the perfect opportunity to wear couture stuff from these array of named designers: Humberto Villegas, Wendell Quisido, Dino Lloren and Brian Aloquin for the opening number. Cutting edge fashionistas Protacio, Ray Kuan and Edwin Ao for the funwear portion and for finale, the evening gown competition–seasoned designers Ditas Rodriguez, Myrna Cebrecus, Ren Manabat, Minnie Yuvienco, Albert Arriba, Oj Hofer, Jun Escario, Marichu Tan, William Manahan, Harley Ruedas, Arcy Gayatin and Salvador Malto.
