Not even the evening showers could dampen the spirits of guests arriving at the Liloan estate. After snaking around the sprawling property, one finds his way to the center of merriment (KC Boulevard named after his favorite granddaughter) nestled amidst pellucid waters of the Silot Bay. And there he sits, surrounded by family, friends, colleagues and constituents. Though the years show on his face, life and wisdom exude a dynamism on the formidable man that he is.
Fondly called “Grandpa” by his family, Democrito “Kito” Mendoza is a testimony that a good man is definitely hard to topple. At 84, he is still at the top of his game doing what he does best: being a father and a businessman.
To celebrate the occasion, the entire Mendoza brood was in full attendance to show their love for Grandpa. Guests were treated with a bevy of delectable eats exquisitely provided by Creative Cuisine and the booze was overflowing! Throughout the evening, a string quartet provided soulful music. Entertaining our celebrator was a handful of his apos who offered a dance number while the staff of OPASCOR serenaded their top honcho with some whimsical birthday songs. A stunning fireworks show concluded the evening’s affair.
Cheers for Kito and here’s to more!
