PMAP holds 7th human resource management conference

Oncemore, the Personnel Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP)- CebuInc. gathersthe human resources (HR) managers from the Visayas and Mindanao to discuss, share and give updates on the latest global trends and effective practicesinHR management, development and organizational development.

The7thPMAP Regional Conferencewill providearoadmap fora “performance-drivenHRthatwill result in better productivity” in their respective workplaces.The conferencewill feature a roster of CEOs and well-respected HR leaders from prime-moving companies and commerce chambers in the country. Top government officials such as Sen. Franklin Drilon, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, DOLE Sec. Arturo Brion and former Agriculture Sec. Roberto Sebastian are also expected to grace the event as conference speakers.The conference willopenwith the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of the exhibits by ProvincialGovernor of Cebu, Gwen Garcia, who will officially welcome the invited guests and conference participants.

Forthefirsttime, theone-and-half-day conference will include an HR Interactiveandround-tablediscussiononthe topic, “Human Resource Accounting:Costof Inputsvs.Value of Outputs.”The two streams of concurrentsessions will showcasebestpractices in Operational and Strategic Human Resource Management. Aside from the plenary sessions to be facilitatedbyindustryheavy weights, exhibits from sponsors and raffle prizes are also in store for the attendees.A unique HR musicale will open the event.

ThisPMAP conference,open to all HR professionals and people management practitioners,will be held on July 26-27 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino inLahug.
