Deja Vu Restobar
February 20, 2007 | 12:00am
Déjàvu Restobar, a Mediterranean inspired bar, is now catering to your leisure needs with a satisfying ambiance being part of the Cabanas located at the back of Philosophy Lifestyles in Mango Avenue, showcasing live bands, sumptuous food and a pleasing environment.
Being part of the Cabanas with different concepts per cubicle in pastel colors, déjàvu has come up with the Mediterranean theme.
One of the part owners of this establishment, Ted Villaremo, said that it was named déjàvu because it somehow relates to their being nostalgic for having opened another bar. The bar features weekly events. Everyday, there will be two bars that will be the host bars and they will conceptualize their own events where every customer will have the time to shine by singing together with a band.
All of the bars in the Cabanas will be opened at 5:00 in the afternoon with a variety of music and when 11 o'clock strikes, all the music of the bars will be the same.
Déjàvu will be open in the afternoon for lunch. Prices are very affordable in a very good location, the middle of the city. The food being offered coincides with the concept of each restobar.
Déjàvu, despite having a Mediterranean menu, also retains Filipino favorites like adobo, sizzling spaghetti and spagcit (spaghetti in a pancit way of cooking). Déjàvu has the cleanest rest room among all the bars here in the city. Ruth Adizas and Richard Co are co-owners together with Ted Villaremo.
